Gina Torres Was Married to Laurence Fishburne for 14 Years
In 2002, Gina Torres married "The Matrix" star Laurence Fishburne. They went on to star in "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions" the following year and followed up their on-screen relationship on "Five Fingers," released in 2006. Gina also appeared with Laurence as an item in the TV series "Hannibal" between 2013 and 2015.
Their Hollywood romance was not entirely a public relationship, as they managed to conceal much about their private life. Gina and Laurence's last public appearance as an item was in December 2015, and they then went on to make other appearances but not together. In 2017, a ringless Gina was seen sharing a passionate kiss with a mystery man at Sweet Butter Cafe in LA. After this incident made headlines, she announced her amicable divorce from Laurence.

Gina Torres Seems to Have Found Happiness with Entrepreneur Kevin Wright
Gina's mystery man from her lunch date in the Studio City restaurant was confirmed as an entrepreneur named Kevin Wright. Daily Mail shared that the actress met her boyfriend on a Southern California beach in August 2017, but suggested that the comfort they showed in each other at the restaurant offers that their relationship was not new.
"I think [Torres] finds in Kevin what she didn't find in [Fishburne]. He's the opposite of a Hollywood guy—he's just a cowboy type. He's an 'I'm going to go ride my horse' type of guy," Gina's friend told Page Six.
